    Throughout October, women who live in Oak Park, River Forest or Proviso Township can get a mammogram for no cost at Rush Oak Park Hospital. Now there is no reason not to have one.

    To qualify for our free mammogram program, the following must be true:

    You do not have insurance.
    You live in Oak Park, River Forest or Proviso Township (proof of residence will be requested at the time of your visit).
    You are 40 years or older, have a family history of breast cancer or have a mutation of the BRCA1 or BRCA2 genes.
    Your mammogram is scheduled and performed by Oct. 31, 2021.
