I am 41 I need a mammogram for this year but I can not afford the cost, they ask me to pay up front was almost $400 to get this 3D mammogram wondering if y’all can help me otherwise I just won’t get a mammogram because their is no way I can pay up front.

Hi. I am was wondering the requirements to receive a free/low cost mammogram? I have lumps and pain in my left breast that has been there for at least months. I have a pretty high pain tolerance but it is starting to become unbearable. I’ve had one in the past but that was early in my 20’s and I’m 31 now. Cancer runs in my family and these lumps are nothing like the last, it has me worried. I do not have insurance. Any information you give would be greatly appreciated! I need help ASAP! Thank you!

I had insurance last year and got my mammogram done, but am past due for one now and I am uninsured. I am 63, can't get medicaid for medical purposes but have it for family planning which I dont need, because i have had a complete hysterectomy. And I'm not sick enough or old enough for Medicare.
