  • Also, they provide breast and cervical screening and follow-up services, professional education, public education, outreach, quality assurance, and surveillance.

How to be eligible on their breast cancer screening program?

  • Women ages 40 to 64 years old, who meet guidelines are eligible for screenings every year.
  • Women younger than 40 are eligible to receive screening services if they have a family history of breast cancer.
  • Must be uninsured with no private insurance, no Medicaid, no Medicare.
  • And, low-cost tests are provided to uninsured women with incomes at or less than 250 percent of the poverty level beginning three years after the onset of sexual activity or no older than 21 years of age.

What is the procedure for making an appointment for mammogram. I'm 65 years old , retired and experiencing right sided breast pain.I do not have health insurance. It is a few years since I last had a mammogram. My mother and daughter both had breast cancer.
