What does the Screening for Life program provide?

It provides payment for cancer screening tests to qualified Delaware adults.

What are the services they offer?

  • Mammograms and clinical breast exams, Pap tests, Prostate and Colorectal cancer screening tests recommended by your doctor.
  • Lung cancer screening tests, if recommended by your doctor and you meet the criteria.
  • Health education and help with coordinating associated care.

How to be eligible on their program?

  • You must be a resident of Delaware.
  • Have health insurance that doesn't cover screenings.
  • Are aged 18 to 64 years old and not eligibile for Medicaid.
  • Are age 65 or older and do not qualify for Medicare.
  • Are not eligible for health insurance from the Health Insurance Marketplace.
  • Has a household income between 139% and 250% of the Federal Poverty Level.
  • A household consists of the individual, their spouse, and all dependent children under 18 years of age.
  • With an annual household income between 139% and 250% of the Federal Poverty Level are eligible for Screening for Life if they are deemed ineligible for Medicaid.
